Pink Cardigan + Beige Sweatpants

Sweatpants are having their moment right now as working from home is becoming the new norm for more and more people. I recently went to 2nd Street in Chelsea in hopes of finding a perfect pair of sweatpants with nice structure and thickness, and I was lucky to score these beige ones. It is another truly amazing pre-owned garment. I love everything about them: the color, the fit, the design, the material, and the craftsmanship. They are from CURLY & Co., a Japanese brand that mainly makes menswear.
Rolling up my sleeves a bit since they are a little long on me.
TIPS for shopping pre-owned bottoms:
In-person: For a sure fit, try them on. If that’s not possible, you can measure them against your body. Even better, if you know your waist size in inches/centimeters, you may request to get the waist of the garment measured in-store. Depending on the brand, the size in letters and numbers can mean different measurements, so knowing your actual measurements can be a big help.
Online: Filter your search by size. If the brand is unfamiliar, check the size chart on the brand’s official website. There is more guesswork involved compared to shopping in-person, but if you know a brand well you can easily take your usual size.

I’m layering a bra top from Uniqlo inside the pink cardigan. They are great for summer days too (styled in this post from June). It is a wardrobe workhorse. I use it for lounging, layering, and even yoga sessions.
Beautiful pink and warm beige, adding a fuzzy feeling to the cold winter days.
