Lolita Dress: Ruffles, Ribbons & Cuteness Overload
I have a couple of Lolita dresses that I reserve for events and parties. Since I can’t use them on a daily basis, I just know that they will rarely see the light of the day - which is a shame given that they are unique and adorable.
“If not now, then when?” I thought to myself. So, as the year is coming to an end, I decided to end it with a festive vibe.
Dress up for NYE, whether it’s a party for one or a few.
In reality, the shoes and tights are different from the pictures. I changed the color of the shoes and added some details to the tights for these pictures. Since I don’t have any red shoes IRL, I used Photoshop to help me bring out this outfit idea. The shoes are from Hotwind (a Chinese brand), and I got them in summer 2019.
The red Lolita dress is from Devil Inspired, a retail store that sells many indie Lolita fashion brands from China. Please remember to shop mindfully, and think about how frequently you can use them, as it may be tempting to buy all the cute stuff. The beige tights are from YesStyle (discount code LVNPETITE). They are ribbed, opaque, and can be paired with your everyday clothing. I love them with dresses and skirts for cooler days.
