Cold Rainy Day Outfit

I'm not usually fond of the rain, nor am I a fan of uncomfortable rubber boots. When the roads are full of puddles, I'd rather stay home and cuddle. Not to mention that umbrellas don't always work in the strong wind down the avenues. So in addition to the sometimes malfunctioning umbrella, I need a solution to stay warm and dry this season. How about a bright waterproof jacket with a pair of stylish waterproof boots? A cute cold rainy day outfit makes a gloomy day instantly better.
Rain Jacket
The fabric is made from 100% recycled nylon and a breathable waterproof barrier. Light-weight and packable, it's great for travel too. You can fold the jacket into a small pouch.

Layering
Inside of my Patagonia Torrentshell Jacket, I layered a long sleeve top from Amour Vert, and a light-weight puffer jacket from Everlane.

Waterproof Boots

I bought these boots last year, and they were my go-to winter boots. Since I plan to wear them a lot this season again, I had the heels repaired last week for $35. Sometimes shoe repairing can turn your beloved old boots into like-new condition.

Inside the boots, I'm wearing a pair of high-waisted stretch ankle jeans from Everlane. I also have a pair of grey ones in the same style (see my review in this post).
